Matt Grayson brings more than 20 years of experience in sports as an athlete, coach, and trainer, having coached at every level—from youth athletics to high school, collegiate programs, and the NFL. A graduate of Robert Morris University, Matt was a four-year contributor on a two-time NCAA Division I FCS National Championship football team. He later served as a Graduate Assistant Coach while earning both an MBA and a Master’s degree in Education. His coaching career has included roles with high school programs in Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as a professional opportunity with the Arizona Cardinals in 2012. With additional graduate-level training in psychology, Matt combines elite performance experience with a deep understanding of how individuals learn, adapt, and grow.
A lifelong student of movement and combat sports, Matt was drawn to Muay Thai for its rich tradition, practical self-defense application, and reputation as one of the most demanding martial arts in the world. After four years of kickboxing, he transitioned into traditional Muay Thai training under Kru Reese and has continued his development for more than two years. His journey has included training at world-renowned gyms in Thailand, including FA Group and Mr. Knocks. In December 2024, Matt stepped into the ring for his first bout, earning a third-round TKO victory.
For more than eight years, Matt has trained athletes, teams, and everyday individuals with a philosophy centered on perseverance through challenge—believing that adversity builds strength, confidence, and character. He approaches coaching with the mindset that health is wealth and the body is the ultimate machine. As a NASM-certified professional, Matt emphasizes disciplined, consistent training and long-term physical maintenance. Known for his ability to motivate and inspire, his sessions are demanding yet deeply rewarding, leaving members feeling accomplished, resilient, and empowered to fully enjoy life.
